Is Nurelium a medical app or a diagnostic tool?

No. Nurelium is a personal health companion for guidance and note-taking; it is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, medical advice or treatment recommendations. All condition information is educational and drawn from public health references (MedlinePlus, NHS A to Z, CDC). Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance.

Where is my health data stored?

Everything you enter (symptoms, journal entries, medication schedules, notes) is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server or shared with third parties unless you explicitly export and share a Plus visit report. Your health data is yours.

Do I need an account to use Nurelium?

No. Nurelium requires no account, no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start immediately. This is a core privacy design decision: we cannot access your data because we never receive it.

How do medication reminders work?

You set a medication name, dose, time(s), days and duration. The app sends a local notification at the scheduled time. You can mark it taken, snooze by 15 minutes or skip. The free plan supports up to 2 active reminders. Nurelium Plus gives you unlimited reminders and full adherence history.

What is a visit report and how do I get one?

A visit report is a doctor-ready PDF summary built from your recent symptom journal entries, medication reminders and saved symptom checks. It is designed to give your clinician a clearer picture of what has been happening between appointments. Visit reports are a Nurelium Plus feature.

What does Nurelium Plus include?

Nurelium Plus includes: doctor-ready PDF visit reports, unlimited medication reminders with full adherence history, unlimited symptom journal history (free shows your 10 most recent entries), 30-day trend and pattern view, family profiles (separate records per person), and unlimited condition bookmarks. Plus is available monthly (£4.99/mo) or yearly (£29.99/yr).

What are family profiles?

Family profiles let you maintain separate health records for different people (a partner, child or dependent) within the same app. Each profile has its own journal, medication reminders, symptom checks and bookmarks. Family profiles are a Nurelium Plus feature.

How do I cancel my Plus subscription?

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings and cancel Nurelium Plus from there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I delete my data?

All your data is stored on your device. You can clear it by deleting the app or using the data deletion option in app settings. If you need assistance with a data deletion request, email contact@tobistech.co.uk and we will respond within 2 business days.

Why does Nurelium ask for notification permission?

Notification permission is required for medication reminders to work. Without it, reminders are stored in the app but no alert will appear on your device. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device settings. No other notifications are sent.

Does the symptom checker replace going to a doctor?

No. The symptom checker is a guided educational tool that helps you understand your symptoms and identify a sensible next step. It does not diagnose illness. If the checker recommends seeking urgent or same-day care, please follow that guidance. For emergencies, call your regional emergency number (999 in the UK, 911 in the US, 000 in Australia, 112 in the EU).
